Getting in

• Tuapejat ferry harbour, Sipora Island: There is no airport in Tuapejat. The practical arrival is by scheduled ferry/fast boat from Padang’s harbour area to Sipora, then an arranged hotel pickup, ojek (motorcycle taxi), or local car into town. The final leg is short—roughly 5–15 minutes depending on your accommodation—but do not assume a taxi rank, fixed fare, or late-night transport; arrange it before boarding in Padang. Sailing times and departures are weather- and sea-condition-dependent, so treat the published schedule as provisional and keep a buffer night rather than planning a same-day international connection.
