Los Cabos International Airport: Skip the airport taxi pitch if you are staying in San José del Cabo or along the Corridor: take the air-conditioned Ruta del Desierto bus from outside Terminal 1. It runs along Highway 1 roughly every 10–30 minutes, reaches central San José del Cabo in about 25–35 minutes, and is the inexpensive option (roughly MX$100 or less, depending on stop). For a resort set back from the highway, use the bus plus a short taxi rather than paying for a private airport transfer. A pre-booked private transfer makes sense only for late arrivals, lots of luggage, or a group splitting the cost.
Autotransportes Águila bus terminal: This is the practical intercity arrival point for buses from La Paz, Todos Santos, Loreto and Cabo San Lucas. It is near Walmart, east of Highway 1—not in the historic center. In daylight, take a local bus or a short taxi into centro; expect about 10–15 minutes by car. Do not assume a resort shuttle will collect you here.
